The course is incredibly well kept, the intricate details of every sign and even how every tent is designed to just make this entire place look classy.

I stop by for a quick snack in the Atunyote Club where the food is absolutely outstanding. Over 3500 fans saw some very good golf. Jeff Gove and Chad Campbell posted matching 7-under 65's to lead the field. Steve Flesch, John Senden, Matthew Goggin and Brendon de Jonge are tied for third.
John Rollins, who won the final B.C. As a fan of the sport, you have to make your way out to Turning Stone. The golf course is in unbelieveable condition. Robert Harper, Robert Todd and their staff have done a wonderful job preparing Atunyote. A PGA offical told me that the greens are in the best shape, perhaps the best on tour this year.
Too many sports fans complain there's never any big events to go to in Central New York. Now's the time, no complaints, put on your comfortable shoes, sunscreen and see the pro's play golf.
While you are at it, watch us at night for highlights, or come back to the web, wktv.com.Jason Powles - WKTVhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01332675426812622123noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7697271743311821373.post-77418864531403394952007-09-17T14:18:00.000-07:002007-09-17T14:21:58.893-07:00Schedule of Events

Monday, September 17
9:00 am Gates open
10:00 am The Monday Pro-Am begins at Atunyote GolfClub at Turning Stone (Shotgun Start)PGA TOUR professional practice rounds

Tuesday, September 18
8:00 am Gates open, PGA TOUR professional practice rounds
3:30 pm Junior Golf Exhibition – Practice Range

Wednesday, September 19
7:00 am Gates open
7:10 am The Wednesday Pro-Am at Atunyote Golf Clubat Turning Stone (Morning Flight)
12:10 pm The Wednesday Pro-Am at Atunyote Golf Clubat Turning Stone (Afternoon Flight)

Thursday, September 20
7:00 am Gates open, First round of competition begins
12:00 pm XM Radio Channel 146 coverage begins3:00 pm Golf Channel television coverage begins

Friday, September 21
7:00 am Gates open, Second round of competition begins
12:00 pm XM Radio Channel 146 coverage begins
3:00 pm Golf Channel television coverage begins

Saturday, September 22
8:00 am Gates open, Third round of competition begins
8:30 am The Saturday Pro-Am begins at theShenendoah Golf Club at Turning Stone(Shotgun Start)
12:00 pm XM Radio Channel 146 coverage begins
3:00 pm Golf Channel television coverage begins

Sunday, September 23
8:00 am Gates open, Final round of competition begins
12:00 pm XM Radio Channel 146 coverage begins
3:00 pm Golf Channel television coverage begins6:00 pm Awards Ceremony

Please Note: *Schedule Subject to Change
Andrew Donovanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03804904073888420770noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7697271743311821373.post-42103147322354777622007-09-17T14:15:00.000-07:002007-09-17T14:18:34.368-07:00Tournament Quick Facts
Dates: September 17-23, 2007

Title Sponsor: Turning Stone Resort

Purse: $6.0 million - $1,080,000 winner’s share

Live Broadcasts: The Golf Channel – Thursday through Sunday coverage
XM Radio Channel 146 – Thursday through Sunday coverage

Course Information: Atunyote Golf Club at Turning Stone
Designer: Tom Fazio Par: 72 Yardage: 7,490
Andrew Donovanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03804904073888420770noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7697271743311821373.post-13894617095882001802007-09-17T12:25:00.000-07:002007-09-17T12:28:15.804-07:00Welcome To Our Newest BlogHello everyone.
